              Congratulations and well wishes to Society for Indo- Tibetan  Buddhist Studies (SITBS) located in Varanasi of Uttar Pradesh is an NGO devoted to human values. With its beginning on 17 March, 2011 it started following the Buddhist teachings of peace, nonviolence, compassion and universal responsibility. In the field of environmental protection it implemented several ideas and programs. For protection of natural resources, upliftment of children and women, enrichment of our cultural- spiritual heritage and social transformation its office bearers, sympathizers  and well wishers are working tirelessly.

       The SITBS is active with main focus on issues relating to art and  culture, drinking water, education and literacy, health and family welfare, information and communication technology, rural development and social harmony. This Organization is also active with its constructive approach and programs in the field of youth and sport, tribal affairs and above all national unity and integrity. It is of the idea that all problems of the society should he solved with scientific, democratic and spiritual approaches. These approaches will enrich human values and lead towards the concept of universal family or Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam.  

       The SITBS through organizing many seminars, workshops, conferences and dialogues of national- international level has contributed much in strengthening social harmony. Several exhibitions and meeting are conducted to create awareness regarding purification of Ganga, our historical heritage and social duties. Many centenary celebrations, mahotsavs, special days,  special weeks etc. are organized by it in the same direction. As a result this NGO has successfully gained its special constructive identity in the society.

       In the year 2010 the SITBS began publishing two international journals Wisdom Herald and Universal Review. Both of them are multidisciplinary journals. In both journals  research articles of international repute are published in three languages, i.e. Hindi, English and Sanskrit. Wisdom Herald, published from New Delhi branch and Universal Review published from Kolkata branch of SITBS are engaged in promoting research work applying scientific and spiritual approaches. Combination of Scientific and spiritual approaches is the demand of our time.

       The SITBS is active all the time in the constructive direction. With the active participation and cooperation of its well wishers, sympathizers and office bearers it will continue its value based journey. Let us congratulate the SITBS for its achievements and assure its office bearers that our all needed help, ideas and guidance will remain available all the time.
